INTRODUCTION
This Manual provides
guidance to researchers and administrators for administering sponsored
programs consistent with Federal regulations and Virginia Commonwealth
University (VCU) policy. Sponsors, especially the federal
government, require that funds provided to VCU be used appropriately for
the benefit of research and other sponsored activities. The federal
government provides detailed regulations in the Office
of Management and Budget Circulars A-21, A-110,
and A-133.
This Manual provides a summary of both the applicable federal
regulations and VCU financial policies, in addition to links to
resources providing more details, and contact information for
individuals who can also be of assistance.
This website and manual
are maintained by the Office of Grants and Contracts Accounting.
